This month's Art in America is an incredible issue. Its primary focus is Contemporary Indigenous Art and includes a piece on Demian DinéYazhi' by manuel arturo abreu, a critical feature by the National Museum of the American Indian in New York's curator Kathleen Ash-Milby, an interview with Hock E Aye Vi Edgar Heap of Birds (who also contributed the cover art), and much, much more. I've been devouring these pieces and encourage you to do so as well.
