This month's Art in America is an incredible issue. Its primary focus is Contemporary Indigenous Art and includes a piece on Demian DinéYazhi' by manuel arturo abreu, a critical feature by the National Museum of the American Indian in New York's curator Kathleen Ash-Milby, an interview with Hock E Aye Vi Edgar Heap of Birds (who also contributed the cover art), and much, much more. I've been devouring these pieces and encourage you to do so as well. 

In the print-only edition, I also had the privilege of writing a "First Look" on artist Andrew Ross, whose current solo exhibition, "Iceman Returns," is on view at American Medium in Chelsea through October 15th. Swoop a physical copy and get to chewin'.
